Job Offer: Sales Representative

Citizen Alert is a new tech company that helps to make communications dilemmas easy to manage and resolve. The company offers a branded, affordable, and customizable communications platform that enables towns, companies, or institutions to share instant electronic notifications with their target audience. Accessible from any location and available on any electronic device, this branded system ensures all communications are adaptable, simple, and timely – just the way they should be. 

We are looking for a sales representative to join our sales team. This individual would be responsible for generating leads and helping to build our company’s client base. You would initially begin from a potential client list that has already been obtained from Trade Shows attended by our current Citizen Alert Team. As you develop with the company, you may be required to, research potential clients, offer presentations to potential clients, prepare quotes and proposals for potential clients, and manage client relationships.  

We are looking for a commission-based sales representative to help us promote our communications applications and develop our client base. This individual would be responsible for:

  • Generating leads;
  • Helping to coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs;
  • Visiting potential clients to evaluate and determine their needs or to promote services;
  • Preparing and giving sales presentations to potential clients;
  • Preparing quotes and proposals for potential clients;
  • Negotiating contracts with potential clients; 
  • Preparing sales reports;
  • Maintaining client records via CRM software;
  • Developing and maintaining successful business relationships with clients.

The selected candidate will have:

  • Sales experience with small or medium-sized businesses
  • An interest in helping a new company grow and flourish
  • An interest in technology and application development
  • Strong communications skills; written and verbal
  • An ability to manage diverse clienteles and dossiers
  • A flexible schedule that permits travel
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients
  • An understanding of the field of communications and communications-related challenges for organizations, businesses, and municipalities would be an asset.
